Marlow FM again

21:50

A few of us did some more publicity for the club on by playing live on Marlow FM on Saturday evening.

  • Simon sang John Tams' The Year Turns Around Again (from the wonderful Warhorse show), and Steve Earle's Galway Girl (from the Magner's advert), accompanying himself on medodeon
  • Alison sang Crow On Tne Cradle and GLasgow Lullaby (about a drunken husband), accompanying herself on concertina
  • Rosie sang Keep On The Sunny Side (by The Carter Family via O Brother Where Art Thou) and Killing The Blues (known from Raising Sand) with me on guitar and Steve on bass and backing vocals.
  • Steve sang and played guitar on Across the Great Divide (by Kate Wolf) with me on bass and Rosie on backing vocals
Thanks to Andy and Paul for the opportunity.

The Marlow FM broadcasts revert to being internet-only after this week. The Folk and World Show is back to being 2 hours from 18:00-20:00 on Saturdays, repeated on Mondays.
